Thank you from all of us at the YWCA for standing up against domestic abuse and sexualized assault in our communities.

On Friday, September 16, 178 walkers marched on Banff Avenue to help women and children stay safe in our community. Through your hard work we’ve raised more than $78,000 for the YWCA’s violence prevention work, including programming in the Bow Valley schools and the community. A big thank you goes out to the event participants, walkers, sole sisters, volunteers, advocates, donors and sponsors. We could not have done it without you.

We are so grateful to you, the Bow Valley community, for your extraordinary efforts in raising funds and awareness for intimate partner violence prevention.
