YWCA Banff is rooted in community, and people are at the heart of what we do every day.
That’s why on August 29, 2019, YWCA Banff will donate 20% of the revenue generated by our social enterprise hotel (up to $2000) to the Banff Community Food & Friends Program to help support this important new initiative.
What is Banff Community Food & Friends?
The Banff Community Food & Friends program supports food security, affordability and overall community well-being.
This free, non-denominational community event will be OPEN TO ALL, held every Monday night at St. George In the Pines. EVERYONE will be welcomed to enjoy a beautiful and nutritious meal prepared and served by community volunteers, and to enjoy conversation and fellowship with friends and neighbours.
“Y” are we supporting BCFF?
YWCA Banff is committed to building a safe, healthy and caring community for all Bow Valley residents. We are fortunate to operate a social enterprise hotel, offering us flexibility to invest in community programs and services, including our affordable housing program. We recognize the importance of food security and affordability for all, as well as the value of social interaction and inclusion.
We are proud to partner with Banff Community Food & Friends in support of a thriving, connected community.
