Each year our VINEart Gala Auction acts as the major fundraiser that allows us to expand and maintain our programs and services that empower e]women and girls throughout the Bow Valley.

Proceeds from the event go towards the Bow Valley Women’s Emergency Shelter, and our Higher Ground project. With your support, we can make an essential difference in the lives of vulnerable members of our community who are in need of safety and stability to rebuild their lives free of violence.

Volunteers are vital to VINEart’s success. We need individuals for roles such as coat check, registration, auction spotting, raffle ticket sales, tear down, and more.

Sunday June 17, 2018, Banff

Since its inception the Banff Marathon has supported YWCA Banff as their charity of choice, contributing more than $15,000 to our programming through participant donations. This year, we are once again partnering with Banff Marathon. To help with the marathon’s on-the-day operations, we are creating a YWCA volunteer team and looking for volunteers to help us be part of this event. It’s a truly fun day of being outdoors, helping keep the runners hydrated and nourished. It’s a lot of fun!

Full-day, half-day and shorter shifts between 8:00am and 4:00pm are available.
