What time is check-in/check-out and what’s the latest time I can check-in at?

All reservations have a guaranteed check-in time of 3pm. We will try to accommodate requests for early check-ins in advance by calling 1-800-813-4138. If the room is ready prior to 3pm you are welcome to check-in early. Check-out time is anytime before 11:00am. Our Guest Services team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What is your cancellation policy?

Reservations are fully refundable if they are cancelled before 3pm, 72 hours prior to your arrival date. Cancellations made within 72 hours of check-in will be charged only the first night of the reservation. Please note all refunds are in Canadian dollars.

Can men stay at the YWCA Banff Hotel?

Yes, everyone is welcome to stay at the YWCA Banff Hotel. We are open to ALL travellers – women, men, families and groups.

Can I access internet at the YWCA Banff Hotel?

Yes, we have complimentary WIFI for all guests.

Where can I park?

Do you have TV’s in your guest rooms?

Although we do not have TV’s in our guest rooms, we do have a television room on the premises that is open for guests to use. please note: the television room is currently closed as part of our COVID-19 health and safety measures

Our Guest Services Agents at the front desk are also happy to recommend local sports bars where you will find all the latest sports games. 

Is there somewhere I can store my gear (bags, skis/snowboard, bike)?

Yes, we have day storage available where you are welcome to leave your luggage while you are waiting to check-in or after check-out before you depart for your next destination. Any small valuables like cameras or laptops can be left at the front desk for safe keeping during your stay. We also provide bike racks at the front of the building.

How does the “Christian” aspect fit into the YWCA?

It’s part of our acronym (Young Women’s Christian Association); so it is part of our history. However there is no longer any religious connotation or requirement to our work and/or services. We are a multicultural, multi-denominational organization for both our clients and staff and we value our diversity.
