After 25 years operating as the Banff Y Mountain Lodge, we’ve updated our name to better reflect the experience and facilities that we offer our guests.
What’s in a name?
YWCA — A social enterprise operated by YWCA Banff, all profits generated through our hotel are used to support community programming like the Bow Valley Women’s Emergency Shelter and violence prevention education and outreach in local schools. The YWCA has over 100 years of history in Banff!
Banff – Located in our iconic town and Canada’s finest National Park, Banff regularly attracts travellers, visitors and job seekers from all over the world to experience all that our mountains and community have to offer.
Hotel – Although mountain lodge has a nice ring to it, our facilities and services are best described as a hotel and it is important that we set clear expectations.
