The YWCA Banff Hotel is no longer in operation as of March 31, 2025.

⁠This social enterprise hotel has been more than a place to stay — it’s been a vital part of who we are. Every guest who walked through our doors helped support programs that make a real difference in our community, from crisis response to affordable housing and violence prevention. ⁠

Although the hotel is closing, YWCA Banff is embarking on an exciting new chapter with a future-focused model of economic sustainability. All our core programs and services will continue, supported through a new partnership with SAIT and the Wim and Nancy Pauw Foundation. This space will soon house a world-class tourism and hospitality centre, which will help us advance workplace violence prevention initiatives and further elevate the way we deliver our programs and services to the community. ⁠
