YWCA Banff Hotel is accepting bookings until March 31, 2025!
After 30 years of service, the YWCA Banff Social Enterprise Hotel will be permanently closing its doors on March 31, 2025. We deeply appreciate the support of our guests over the years.
This decision marks a pivotal shift as we focus on addressing the growing need for community support. Over the past four years, YWCA Banff’s crisis calls have increased by 218%. This surge in demand reflects the critical need for enhanced programs and services, as well as increased efforts in violence prevention. Through an exciting partnership with the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and the Wim and Nancy Pauw Foundation, the space will now contribute to a world-class tourism and hospitality centre and the integration of violence prevention initiatives into the workplace.
Thank you for being part of our journey. For alternative accommodations, we recommend HI Banff Alpine Centre, or Banff Lodging Company, which offers a variety of lodging options throughout Banff.
