The YWCA is Banff’s leading provider of temporary and permanent affordable housing with over 100 residents living onsite year-round.

All residences provide a secure private furnished bedroom, private or shared bathrooms, as well as shared common facilities such as kitchens, lounges and television rooms.

We offer women’s only floor accommodation.  Pets are not permitted in any of the residences.

Wait time is subject to availability and seasonal demand.

Eligibility Criteria

Currently employed at a Banff National Park based business for a minimum of 28 hours per week.  Individual gross income is less than $40,000 per year.

You can apply online or in person at the YWCA Banff, 102 Spray Ave. Upon moving in you will need to show government issued identification such as passport or driver’s licence, along with a recent paystub or letter confirming employment in Banff National Park.

    Staff Rate:  $10.50 per day

  • Main Building

    Private room with private bathroom:  $23.00 per day (single), $30.00 per day (double)
