    • New for 2024, our communal kitchen has reopened! Within our kitchen facilities you will find everything you need to cook up everyday meals.   • Before you book

    Are men allowed to stay at the YWCA?

    Yes, everyone is welcome to stay at the YWCA Banff Hotel. We are open to ALL travelers and all genders, families, and groups.

    Do I need to have a YWCA or YMCA membership to stay at the YWCA Banff Hotel?

    No, you don’t. Anyone can stay at the YWCA Banff Hotel.

    How does the “Christian” aspect fit into the YWCA?

    It’s part of our acronym (Young Women’s Christian Association); so, it is part of our history. However, there is no longer any religious connotation or requirement to our work and/or services.  We value our diversity as a multicultural, multi-denominational organization for both our clients and staff.

    What currency are your rates in?

    Our rates are in Canadian dollars.

  • Before you arrive

    What time is check-in and check-out?

    Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you are planning on arriving before our guaranteed check-in time we will do our best to accommodate when possible. Early check-ins can be requested by calling 1-800-813-4138. Our Guest Services team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    Is there parking at the hotel?

    Yes, however parking is limited and is available on a first come, first served basis.

    What is your cancellation policy?

    Reservations are fully refundable if they are cancelled before 3:00 PM, 72 hours prior to your arrival date. Cancellations made within 72 hours of check-in will be charged for the first night of the reservation. Please note all refunds are in Canadian dollars.

    What is a National Park Pass and why do I need one?

    A National Park Pass is required when entering a national park. Banff National Park entry fees help support visitor services and facilities. You can pre-purchase your Park Pass here.

  • When you Arrive

    Can I store my luggage if my room is not ready?

    Yes, we have a baggage room where you can store your luggage if you arrive before your room is ready. We can also store your luggage for the day after you have checked-out.

    Is there somewhere I can store my skis/snowboard/bike etc.?

    Yes, we have day storage available where you are welcome to store your winter gear. We also provide bike racks at the front of the building.

  • During your stay

    I need extra assistance what time is guest services open?

    Our guest services team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    I would like to book a tour, where can I do this?

    Our guest services team can assist with any tour books and can also provide local knowledge and recommendations throughout your stay.
